Lilly Bai as i fondly call her,was my guru, my mentor in music, an accoumplished musician, a great singer, a terrific conductor, a gold medalist... etc. Though Late Mr. Patrick Carlo & Late Sippa mastry laid the foundation of music in me, Lilly bai is the one who blossomed and nurtured my talent further in music. I am indeed indebted to her and owe her my entire life. It was in the year 2010 that she visited us last, being affected with a deadly disease of the mind,(Alzhimers Dementia) We all knew that her chances of survival were very bleak I truly lost an inspiration. But her memories will be cherished forever.May your soul rest in peace dear Lilly bai.

The shocking news about Rev. Sr. Lily Pereira has brought grief & sorrow to all of us especially the members of the Bejai Church Choir. Sr. Lily was a well known singer. she had a melodious voice - a voice that was instantly distinguishable the moment it was heard. I had the good fortune to accompany her on the violin & organ during the 50's & 60's, a Voice that will not be heard again but cannot be forgotten. The Bejai Choir members will miss her.
Our Heartfelt condolences to all her near & dear ones.

May her soul Rest in Peace.
