Claudius  Thomas  Joseph Gonsalves (CTJ Gonsalves) (75), Chartered Accountant, husband of the late Flavia M R Gonsalves, father of CA Sunil / CA Adelyne, Dr Sarita / Dr Geover Lobo (Fr Muller Hospital), Er Sudeep, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016.

Mortal Remains will be brought to St Sebastian’s Church, Bendur, Mangalore,  for Public Homage on Thursday,  February 11 at 2.45 pm followed by Mass at 3.30 pm.


CTJ Gonsalves was born on 9th April 1941 and had a longstanding service as the most senior Catholic Chartered Accountant in Mangalore. He had the first partnership firm of Chartered Accountants in Mangaluru enrolled with the comptroller and Auditor General of India. He was Rachana Award Winner as the “Rachana Professional of the Year 2011”. He had keen interest in music and played almost 9 instruments, his favourite being the violin. In spite of his hectic schedule he always found time to play violin for church choirs. On humanitarian grounds he had a big heart and would do render advice and service to many charitable trusts and organisations without charging any fees.
