Sylvester D'Costa (82), husband of Leena D'Costa, father of Loveena / Winston, Mareena / Jeevan, Brian / Astrid, grandfather of Russell, Ryan, Angeleena and Elijah, passed away on February 8, 2017.

Funeral cortege leaves residence on Saturday, February 11 at 3:30 pm for Mass at Our Lady of Egypt Church, Kalina at 4:00 pm followed by burial.

Appa uncle , as he was affectionately known to us, was one of the last few remaining cousins of my father ( The Bantwal Franks) An upright and helpful person, uncle had helped many to come up in life, during his life here on earth. He beat cancer once earlier but the cruel hands of the dreadful desease came back to him again and snatched him away from us. A good man has passsed away and there is no doubt in my mind he has attained eternal bliss. To Leena Aunty and the entire Dcosta family, my heartfelt condolences on the passing away of Appa Uncle.
