Castelino (Kaprigudda), husband of Hyacinth Castelino, father of Tina/Newton, Reema/David, Annika/Ajit and Nigel, grandfather of Zoya and Gabriel and brother of Edwin (Dean, St. Joseph's Institute of Management)/Orianna, Jerome/Jessy, James/Renny, Jacintha/Terrance and Jane/Ivan passed away this morning, 11 March 2017.

Funeral visitation (viewing) will be on Monday, March 13 from 2:30 pm at Ascension Church, 2nd Cross, DCosta Layout, Wheelers Road Extension, Bangalore, followed by funeral Mass at 3:00 pm, thereafter burial at Kalpally cemetery.

My wife Clareen and I are quite saddened by the demise of Joseph (Jossy) and we pay for his eternal bliss in the heavenly kingdom of God. Our condolences to his wife Hyacinth and his children and grandchildren, to his mother Florine and brothers Edwin and James and sisters. I do not think we have met any of these family members and I have a distinct memory of meeting his late father Charles when I was little, on one of his visits to his home in Bolar. The late Charles was my first cousin (my father's elder brother Lorsu bappu's son) and was also Clareen's father's first cousin (Dulcine akai's son). So we both have lost a close daiji. RIP.
