Mangalore, Nov 29: The foundation stone was laid for the ‘Deepa Grandeur’, five star hotel and for ‘Divya Deepa Heights’, commercial cum residential apartment of Janatha construction group here at MG road, opposite to TMA Pai Convention Center on Thursday November 29.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

P Jayaram Bhat, managing director of Karnataka Bank and M Jagannath Shenoy, MD of Mangalore Ganesh Beedi works laid the foundation stone along with other dignitaries.

The foundation stone ceremony was followed by a stage programme where Ramesh Kumar, MD of Janatha Constructions, Urmila R Kumar, managing partner, P Jayaram Bhat, M Jagannath Shenoy, Ananthkrishna, non-executive chairman, J Krishna Palemar, former district in-charge minister, AJ Shetty, chairman of AJ group of companies, A Sadanand Shetty, chairman of Shree Devi Education Trust shared the dais.

 

Jayaram Bhat also released the project brochure on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Kumar briefed about his two upcoming projects like ‘Deepa Grandeur’ and ‘Divya Deepa Heights’.

He said the two projects are developed in 3.43 acres of land, out of which the ‘Divya Deepa Heights’, commercial cum residential apartment will be built 1.83 acre and rest of the land will be utilized for ‘Deepa Grandeur’, five star hotel. Ramesh Kumar said the project is expected to be completed within 4 years.

Jayaram Bhat in his address said that the project will take Mangalore to greater heights and said that it would emerge as a landmark building in the city. He lauded Ramesh Kumar for his brave initiative and said that he has all capabilities to do so.

 

He also wished many of these kinds of projects to be setup in the city.

Ananthkrishna said that the city provides various facilities when compared to other cities, thus this project will be add charm to the city.

I am sure this project will be a huge success adding he asked builders to grow greenery around along with the developing property.

Jagannath Shenoy, Krishna Palemar and Sadanand Shetty also spoke on the occasion and wished good luck.

Deepa Grandeur will be a world-class lifestyle hotel rising up to 25 floors. The basement will stretch across a 400 covered car parking area while the ground floor will have an exquisite 24-hour coffee shop.

The hotel will accommodate a business and meeting room on the second floor. It will have three conference rooms of 1500 sq ft, a business centre of 1000 sq ft, a boardroom of 900 sq ft and 2 boardrooms of 700 sq ft. It will also enclose a banquet hall of 30ft high covering 12,000 sq ft which will have a separate dining hall of 3,250 sq ft. The hotel brings in the best in class for recreational and sports activities on the fifth floor. The hotel consists of 169 luxurious rooms.

It will have a massive swimming pool and an open terrace of 9000 sq ft with a separate gym, health club and spa. The first-class establishment will comprise three types of luxurious rooms, the suites, premium and a deluxe room to a total 169 rooms. As a cherry on the cake the 5 star Deepa Grandeur will accommodate a roof top open sky restaurant covering 1900 sqft and a lounge bar of 3,250 sq ft. The star hotel will consist of seven separate hotels.                    

Adding to the charm of the 5-star Deepa Grandeur is Divya Deepa Heights, a commercial cum luxurious apartment complex rising to 30 floors, to be built and promoted by the Janata Construction Company.

The apartment will have a heavenly sea faced lavish flats with 4 high speed personalized elevators and all the bedrooms have attached toilets and a separate powder room for guests.

All living, dining and bedrooms will be open to the exteriors for proper light and ventilation.
