Good news for the Tiatr Lovers of UAE. After staging continuous hit tiatrs like “Tiatr Somplo Cholat Ghara” “Tanchem Chintat Tivuim Munxeam”, “Tum Tujea Jivitacho Boroinar”, “Sang Mhaka Hanv Patkin?”, Hevui Chukik Bogsonnem Nam” etc. etc. once again, Tragedy King Mario Menezes has penned down another hit tiatr “GHORABEACHE VANTTE” (Division of Family). This tiatr has been running to packed houses all over Goa and so far has staged 82 performances.
The story of the tiatr revolves around three brothers. The elder brother Rio is a band leader who looks after his other two brothers after the death of their parents. He and his wife Anouska work hard day and night to bring up the family but what happens when the brothers get married is to be watched in this tiatr. The ending of the tiatr is different like his earlier tiatrs and has strong message for all the families.
All the artistes have given good performances. Tragedy King Mario Menezes is impressive as elder brother Rio. Rosy Alvares has also given fine performance as elder sister in law, Anouska. Watch the scene when she explains how housewives, are also working women in the different section in their household work. The director is to be complimented for the script and the direction. Agnes and Lawry has done full justice to their roles. Mario de Vasco plays a fine negative role.
The comedy is superb. Hats off to Comedian Joana who handles the comedy along with Edison, Xec Amir, Bobet and John Hatts. Xec Amir as Jacint uncle, portrays late Jacinto Vaz, the Charlie chaplin of Goa very well. The director has made good use of the talent and his Mimic.
The show has 12 songs sung on various topics by Lawry, Rosy, Agnes, Mario Menezes, Edison and Mario de Vasco. Xec Amir sings two comedy solos, one he renders in the voice of legendary M. Boyer. Mario’s 8 year old daughter RIOMA, who had won Late “Jack Sequiera” award and also won “GULAB” award on 20th July, 2008 is singing equally good solos, with her crystal clear voice.
Music is arranged by Maestro Agusto de Panchwadi and James. Background Music by James adds more flavour to the show. Lights are controlled by Piety.
Overall the show is a good entertainer and is a must see to all the families and not to be missed.
