25th wedding anniversary

We were once two strangers walking this earth,
but when we met, we merged our lives
together to become one. Of course we are still
individuals, but our love for one another joined
us together in ways that will mystify mankind
for an eternity.
Our two hearts became one love, our two minds
created one dream, our two bodies became one
intertwined soul, and we started a life long
journey together. Hand in hand we started our
climb up the very long ladder of life.
Over the years we have laughed and cried together,
fought with each other and worked together
to overcome problems. We have grown as individuals
and also as a partnership. We have hurt each other
beyond belief, but also supported cared and loved each other.
For it is that love, friendship, trust and, above all,
absolute faith in each other that has brought
us to where we are now, our 25th wedding anniversary.
I do not know what the future may hold for us,
but there is one thing that I do know - neither one
of us is perfect, but we are perfect for each other
