God blessed you with wisdom
To use to give form to his plans
And love to carry them out

Mary walks with you
Guiding and loving you
For to her you are a Christ

You hold the Body of Christ
Embrace his name and proclaim it
And a father and counselor you have become
Not for you
But always for others.

God brought you to Canada
To live in the midst of Konkani people
To share the Love of God in their mother tongue
Not for you
But always for others.
Beloved Fr.Henry Alva, as you celebrate your Silver Jubilee of your Priesthood we wish you a long and cherished life in the service of the Lord and His people.  Hearty congratulations!
