It’s been a year since you’ve left us Mom,
A void remains in our home,
Which was once filled with the sound of your sweet laughter!
Your gentle touch and warmth,
Made everyone around you so happy.
Coming back to our home still feels empty,
As now we don’t have our Mai waiting cheerfully for us at the doorstep.
But deep in our heart we know,
That you are spreading smiles in the heavens above,
While showering your love and blessings on us.
