20 years ago the Lord took you away
Now you dwell in that place beyond the stars
A hole you left in our heart that day
Years have passed and still we wear the scars.

We cried the day you answered his call
Those you left behind still feel the pain
Your death has left a great big hole
How we long to have you here again.

Memories of you still keep you near
We miss your presence each and every day
Even if you dwell amongst the angels up there
Within our hearts is where you'll always stay.

We need to only look up towards the stars above
There you are, we can feel your constant love.
