Days and years passed

It’s only 10 years but feels like too many years

Day doesn’t pass without tears.

Your birthday ishere

But its sad you are not here

Oh how we wish, we could celebrate your Birthday

With whole family joining today.

Our love and respect grow stronger each day

You are missed everyday

With our thoughts in our minds

With the passing of the day.

Today is your birthday in heaven above

We are sending the wishes with the wings of a dove

Trust you receive them with love

Not only today, but everyday.

We want to give you a present

But we know we can’t

So we are praying with hope

We shall meet one day in heaven.

I miss the strength you brought in me

And the comfort that you gave

And on your birthday it is hard

To pretend to be brave.

I shall spend your birthday

Dreaming that you are here

Along with our children and grandchildren

Always inour minds and in our hearts forever.

 

I pray that God will give us strength

And somehow get us through

As I struggle with the heartache

That came when I lost you.

 

Thinking of you each and every moment

Especially when it’s your birthday and the day you joined the Lord

I know that you are in peace where there’s no pain

No anxiety no fear but only God’s love.
