Rev. Father Peter Noronha is a person of name and fame. He served Father Mulller"s Charitable Institutions as a Director for ten years. I had the privilege of working with him on The Governing Board of FMCI for several years starting my tenure at a time when His Lordship Rev. Dr. Basil D"Souza was The Bishop of Mangalore. Father Peter indeed served the institution very well. When Pope Jon Paul II for the first time in history made a visit to Mangalore Father Peter was given the privilege to to go to The Airport to meet him. It was also a privilege granted to Minister Blasious D"Souza and me to go to The Airport to be introduced to The Pope along with a few other dignitaries. Old as I am I took The Opportunity to bid my last farewell to my friend Father Peter in front of The Cloister Convent, Kankanady. where his nephew Sujeeth Noronha took the trouble to arrange to stop the vehicle carrying the body and arrange my last meeting with Father Peter
