There will never be another you! 

Here is a man who loved to live;

Frugal on himself, others generously he’d give 

Tall, fair and handsome, looked a model; 

To children & the world, a good role model 

Swag he had, distinct in style;

Ahead of others, always with a smile 

One man army, the wrongs he would fight;

Trying to get people, deliver their rights 

To his family, he did love so much; 

Busy at his job, never failed to be in touch 

Didn’t spare the rod; didn’t spoil the child;

Somewhere deep inside, he was so mild 

Quarrels with his beloved wife just for a lark;

Love for each other, never needed a spark 

To the whole world, his letters he would write;

Making a change, in his pen there was might 

Aced his subjects, law & equity;

His knowledge he’d share in all humility

Professional and honest, excelled at his job;

Even at home, errands never to stop

‘My ship, my order’ to the world he would say;

Braving every storm, every night every day,

Said, “at 50,60, 70, we close down and go”; 

At 91, we’re sure; he wasn’t meant to go

Never liked to suffer, if ever he fell ill; 

God took him away and time stood still 

We owe him a lot, debts we can’t repay; 

Grateful to him, we shall always stay 

Rest in Peace
