In my association with several catrholic priests for more than 6 decades I have found few exemplary and dedicated priests- Rev. Fr. Gregory Vas is one of them. One of my two sons had already joined Milagrace High School where Fr. Vas was the head master. I was then working in one of the diocesean institutions for a meagre salary. When I sought admission for my second son, without my request, Fr. Gregory Vas told me, ' I know how much your salary is...you do not pay donation. You pay only the annual fees...' . That was his greatness. He knew the difficulties of people, a true priest he was. These are the people who attain sainthood, which we won't know. We need not pay for his soul, we should seek his intervention in our difficulties.

RIP Fr. The best principal ever anyone can get, He mesmerized the students with his charming smile, wittiness. He was so friendly with the students that all listened to him. The way he explained things was out of the box. Made our life and study so wonderful in the school.

Dear Fr. Vas, saddened by your demise. You were my Headmaster in Milagres School - mid 1970s to mid 1980s. Your administration of the school was unmatched. May the Good Lord grant eternal rest unto your good soul. May His perpetual light shine upon you. Rest in peace, dear Father.

Fr. Vas was a great compassionate priest. we are so grateful to him as he was so accommodating to all the students who returned from KUWAIT during the GULF WAR when he was the Principal of the Milagres School. We were denied seats in all the boys schools in Mangalore, but Fr. Vas welcomed all the Gulf Returnee Students in1990 without any fuss and reservations. If not for him many boys would have lost one year of education. May God Grant him eternal rest. Rest in Peace Fr. Vas. May you be rewarded in heaven for all the help you gave us during our difficult time. Sincere condolences to his dear family members and the congregation.

saddened to hear of fr vas. passing away. he was a tall figure in changing the course of education at Milagres high school . He was solely responsible for turning around the school and taking it to a different level altogether rip fr vas
