Knew not how they went by-a 25 years,
Deep inside yet flows our river of tears!
Appears still that warm and cheery smile,
Of a little girl given to us for only a while.
 
At a tender age of eleven, you left behind
Memories of your heart, so pure, so kind.
Precocious, devout, dependable, warm
An ideal daughter you were to Dad & Mom.
 
Not once did we see you shirk any chore,
Morals and values you'd never ignore.
Mass, prayers, the Rosary you seldom missed
To commend you dear, we just can't resist.
 
An affectionate daughter and a caring sister
As a diligent student, could none be better;
Always were you selfless, it touched our heart
We only ask Him this, "Did she have to part?"
 
Memories with us are of you, as a child -
So God fearing, pleasant, courteous and mild.
If only He could grant you here, years lot more,
An angel amidst us you'd have been for sure.
 
A demure girl you were, and so yet revered
In our heart full of memoirs, you're still treasured.
Time hasn't wiped you away from our lives;
Many daily reminisce you, within sealed eyes.
 
"Bayya", in grief we hear Mom & Dad beckon,
Still at the door they gaze hoping you'll return;
How lucky we'd have been, to live yet with you
With a sister who'd care, so much and so true.
 
God makes masterpieces, you were one of them,
To our home, school and all, a real priced gem.
God too needed you, and he couldn't stay apart
So took you from us all, his lovely work of Art.
 
Yet you're with us in all our joys and pains
You've been our silver lining, our lucky vein.
25 years slipped by, unchanged still our woe
Until again we meet you dear, it sure will be so!   
 
 
You will live forever in our hearts.
