Dearest Mom, we said a prayer for you
to thank the Lord above
for blessing us with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love.
We thanked God for the caring
you've shown us through the years,
for the closeness we've enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.
And so, we thank you from the heart
for all you've done for us
and we thank the Lord for giving us
The best mother there could be.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide.
You live on through your children, and you're always by our side,
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you on the day God called you home.
A year has passed our hearts still cry;
we miss you more and more as time rolls by,
your heart of gold, your loving smile,
no finer person in this world could hold.
We thank the lord for the precious gift of a loving Wife / Mamma / Mai whom we will always miss.
We will always remember the touch of your hand mom! We will love you forever
“Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon her,
May her soul rest in peace” Amen.
Please Note : 1st Death Anniversary Mass for the soul of our beloved Mai Santhan D’Mello is offered on Sunday May 24th 2009 at 10.30 am in St Joseph’s Church, Chamrajpeet, Bangalore, followed by the blessing of the grave and thereafter a small family consolation gathering at “SHANTHI NILAYA” No. 8, 50 Feet Road, 17th Main, 2nd Cross, Muneshwara Block-Girinagar, Bangalore
