May 13, 2005 for us was like any other day
But you left us and went to live far away
Krithi - a flower that faded much before full bloom
Leaving your dear ones in never-ending gloom

Ever-smiling you were and always brought cheer
To everyone around you - far and near
Hide you did your final pain from the rest
and finally Providence put us all to tough test

A year has passed since, tears still keep flowing
With your memory still in hearts glowing
It was God Almighty's will in full sway
We had but to bow to His plan, His Way

We pray to God to keep you under His guard
And bless you with the Eternal Reward
That's our only hope in grief and pain
