Our Dad,
Daddy, you’ve been gone from here for a year today, and we miss you more than we ever knew we would.
We all wish we had just one more day with you to tell you and show you over and over again that we love you so much.
Daddy, you left so quickly with not much warning and we wonder if you knew what was to happen.

We wonder because a lot of things seemed to fall into place - you wanted to come back home to mom and be there for all of us at all times.
You talked with all your children a week before and we thought you were feeling much better and we are so grateful for that.
Mom is doing all right - we don't know how she'll survive after living with you for nearly 48 years; we guess she will because she's strong and her faith is too.

We didn't know how the first Father's Day without you would be, but now know and we don't like it one bit.
 Daddy, forever your memories are with us and we think of you everyday and we keep you in our hearts.
May Almighty God rest your soul in Eternal peace in Heaven
And God be with you forever and have Mercy on your Soul
