Our beloved Sister, Concepta Fernandes was born on
19th August in the year 1926, to the late Regina & Marcel
Fernandes at a small place called Hondel, in Mangalore Taluka.
She was their first born and only daughter among five sons. 
During those days education was a distant dream. Some or how,
her parents managed to educate her to higher secondary level.
After completing her education she had undergone teachers training
and tool up teaching profession.  Her first assignment was at
St. Francis Xavier's Higher Primary School, Ferar, Mooduperar.
She was fondly known as "Yeppu Teacher" in our vicinity.  She decided
to remain as a spinster and kept on teaching throughout her
career till she retired.  After retiring she dedicated her life to look after her
ailing parents and well being of the household. Off late she met with a fatal
accident, thereafter her health remained unstable for a few years and
finally she succumbed to the will of Almighty.
 
 
A beautiful life has come to an end

And though we cannot see you,
