GEORGE PAUL D'SOUZA (75), retired divisional manager, Syndicate Bank, of Kemmannu, husband of Juliana D'Souza, father of Vivian/Benedicta, Austin, Flavian/Yvette, Alwyn/Rita, Mariette/Ravi, and Charlotte/Simon, passed away on August 1.
After having served as manager in Barkur, Kallianpur, Kemmannu and Malpe branches of the bank, he was promoted as divisional manager and posted to Mumbai. He was serving in the head office at the time of his retirement.
Besides involving himself in religious and social service, he was founder president of the Kemmannu unit of the Catholic Sabha and founder vice president of Udupi Catholic Credit Cooperative Society.
