Heart touching story: Dog donates blood to pregnant canine in Haveri

Haveri, Mar 18: In a heart moving story reported from the district, a dog donated its blood to another pregnant canine. Jimmy donated blood to two months pregnant dog Jippy.

Jippy owned by Likith Hadaligi was getting treated at the veterinary hospital of Haveri. The doctor asked the owner to provide blood immediately.

Vaibhav Patil, who came across this news, brought his dog Jimmy and gave 350 ml of blood.

The act of Jimmy is widely appreciated by netizens on various social media forums.

    Why so much advt.about a dog ?Blood was donated certainly not by himself going and offering ?It was his master ready to make it Possible:In princip we should thank his master to thank make it Possible.One thing would like to know here,is it any dogs blood will match to another ?Is there any thing like blood group or type?

    This is a stupid story. Does anyone think the dog volunteered to donate blood? Does the animal even understand what is going on? Does the writer of the story think the public is THAT stupid to believe this nonsense?
