Holmes Joins Parent Teacher Association

New York, Dec 17 (IANS): Actress Katie Holmes has joined the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at her daughter Suri's school.

Holmes reportedly wants to stay involves in her six-year-old daughter's life and fulfill the responsibility of a single mother.

"Katie is embracing her new-found life as a member of the PTA," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

"She's getting involved in as many activities at the school as her schedule will allow. She's really thrown herself into being a single mom," the source added.

Suri is Holmes daughter with actor Tom Cruise, who ended their 5-year-long marriage in July this year.
