Dubai, Mar 17: DC Creations is gearing up for one of the most awaited and innovative mega event of this year, which will be held at the Emirates Theatre on April 10, 2015. The much awaited Konkani Musical Album of this year ‘Hero – Only Yours’ will be released at this event.
The two-in-one entertainment extravaganza will provide high quality music session 'Unplugged' featuring Prajoth D'Sa and Joshal D'Souza, followed by the presentation of Cha Fra's award-winning drama 'Vishenthiche Bhav' by Vincy Lobo & team.
Prajoth D'Sa
Well-known for his voice texture and unique singing style, Prajoth has sung for over 40 Konkani albums and all his songs are super hit numbers. He has been a part of over 100 studio recordings till date, which include music albums in various languages (Konkani, Hindi, Kannada, Tulu), short movies, radio and TV jingles, anthems, campaigns, drama title tracks etc. He has also rendered his voice for playback singing in Kannada and other regional languages. Prajoth is probably the first artiste to have tried 'a capella' in Karnataka and is among the few artistes in India to have done so. He has recorded 5 'a capellas' till date which is a matter of pride for Konkani lovers.
Despite being so young, he has already been nominated twice in the Best Singer Category at Global Konkani Music Awards. 'Udi Udi', a music album that let out waves of newness in Konkani is his debut album, and holds record breaking sales and response. Currently he is singing for the 2015 Grammy winner Ricky Kej.
Prajoth D'Sa will be flown exclusively for the release of 'Hero – Only Yours' and will present a singing session. Prajoth is all set to cast a spell in his velvety voice and promises his best performance for the evening.
Joshal D'Souza
The GVOM fame Voice of UAE is all set to sway music lovers with her enchanting and magical voice. Joshal is well-known for her fine singing skills and is much appreciated for her voice quality and unique singing technique. She has indeed carved a niche for herself in the Konkani music world.
Joshal along with Prajoth will be singing popular songs to provide a perfect musical experience for music lovers.
Prajoth & Joshal will present a unique 'Unplugged' singing session which will be the main attraction of the evening. The session will see a combination of super hit songs, with minimum use of instruments and priority given to vocals. This is a new concept and will be an experience to last in the hearts of music lovers. DC Creations is certain that this will be a musical session to remember with the right blend of beautiful voices and soothing music.
Prajoth and Joshal will be supported by the talented couple Dony and Asha Correa and many other local talented singers. Music will be provided by the talented local team led by Arun Carlo and Vincent Rodrigues.
Cha Fra’s short drama – 'Vishentiche Bhav'
On popular demand, the award-winning drama by award-winning artistes Vincy Lobo and team is back to enthrall Konkani drama lovers. The team has won many awards and accolades for their brilliant performances in Daiji Drama competition, Daiji Dubai Protibha Spordho 2009 etc. This drama was awarded for its performance along with best actor award to Vincy Lobo and best actor (female) award to Cynthi Pinto. Kethan D’Souza will provide background music for the drama.
‘Vishentiche Bhav’ is a beautifully written masterpiece with humour, aggression and diplomacy mixed in the right proportion that leaves the audience spellbound. It is a family drama. The story depicts the power of poverty versus the power of relationship. It truly exhibits the great literature of Cha Fra and his use of unique similes and metaphors.
'Vishentiche Bhav' is a must watch for Konkani drama lovers for its amazing script, brilliant actors and the beautiful flow of this play.
The mega event will be held at the Emirates Theatre, Dubai on April 10, 2015 from 6 pm (gates will open at 5.30 pm).
