A wonderful job this Mangalurean NRI does. Great is that, he doesn't even come forward and announce who is he. People in the modern time do the charity but want their names to be published.

Though I (we) know him, let it be according to wish not to publish.
A GREAT MAN, GREAT PERSON and a GREAT HUMAN BEING.

Let us all pray to bless him and his family abundantly for the good work he has done in the past doing now and also making lives for other.

    MAY GOD BLESS YOU

A big salute from DESI JAWAN

    Lydia Lobo,
Mostly who take advantage of ‘Educare Trust' are within the bracket of low income or poor class family students and for them to repay the funds within 18 months would be a burden on the parents or head of the family. How to raise such a huge amount. In the meantime if they had such funds they would not have approached the Trust for educational help. These are only my view points.
As to girl student who gets married would be double blessing. Got education and husband too. why worry?

I am sure there will be a leniency/understanding to pay it in installments once she/he will be employed and an arrangement of her/his salary going straight to the loan account.

One thing I always warned girls is that please... please find a job before you get married. Because, the in-laws may certainly want an educated DIL but her going to work may not suit many households. This leaves one more liability with the parents besides arranging her bride-price, to repay her edu-loan.

Great initiative and help from a NRI (un-known) to encourage brilliant students who cannot make it to college.
Education is an asset and also guides us to lead a dignified decent life in the society.
Only the repayment conditions look a bit obscured.
"This loan is to be repaid within a period of 18 months following the completion of studies"
Should have been changed as ‘After obtaining a job'

No Flavian, the terms sounds perfect. Because if a girl student gets married soon after her studies finished and did not work at all, how will the loan be repaid ?

Therefore, the one who obtains an education loan must be obliged and responsible enough to repay it because the amount gets used to educate somebody else after her/him.

I wish success to the organizers of this scheme and wish you guys health and a very long life.
