Moodbidri: Technical Seminar on Renewable Energy Resources at MVSIT Held


Moodbidri, Sep 28: Technical seminar on Renewable energy resources and electricity sectors in Karnataka was inaugurated by M George, superintendent engineer at MVSIT, Todar here, recently.

After explaining the statistics of energy sectors, George requested students to save power as part of routine. Dr Ramgopal Shetty presided.

He urged students to take benefit of such seminars. Resource person Dr Uday Kumar, NIT - K Suratkal gave details on renewable energy resources and informed that they benefit environment, health and economy.
 
In the post lunch session, faculty members and students presented papers on energy conservation and renewable energy.

Principal Dr Sandeep, AO Dr Jayaram Hegde and Vinod, department head were present. Sridhar introduced and Pavitra compered the programme.
