Thanushree dedicated her achievements to the martyrs who were recently killed in a terrorist attack at Pulwama.

Manish Vishnoy, Asian head of Golden Book of world records, said, "Thanushree has created two world records today. These two are very tough ones for anyone to improve upon. I used to practise this yoga posture, Dhanurasana, at our terrace of my home. I used to practice at Ajjarkad stadium too. My parents extended full support to my efforts all through. Besides this, our family friends, teachers, community organizations etc have supported. Because of them, I was able to achieve this feat."

Her mother Sandhya expressed elation at her daughter's achievement in entering Golden book of World Records again. She said Thanushree put in hard work in achieving this mastery, when continuing with other activities. "We have been with her always. Besides this, she is a Bharath Natyam dancer and Yakshagana artiste. In 2019 she has created two world records in one day. That has made us so proud we feel blessed to have a daughter like her."
