Beltangady: Pro-Pakistan slogan raised outside counting centre in Ujire

Beltangady, Dec 30: A video of raising pro-Pakistan slogan outside the gram panchayat election vote counting centre, is going viral on social media.

Reportedly, it is said that members of SDPI and BJP gathered in front of SDM PU College in Ujire to witness the counting process on Wednesday December 30. Both the parties started waving their flags and raising slogans in favour of their parties. Meanwhile, slogans are heard in favour of Pakistan.

It is not clear who raised the pro-Pakistan slogans. 

It is learnt that the Beltangady police will be taking suo moto action against the incident.

Speaking to Daijiworld, MLA Harish Poonja said that he has brought this issue to the notice of home minister Basavaraj Bommai and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. "I have spoken to superintendent of police to take strict action against those who raised pro-Pakistan slogans and book them under stringent law.”

Athaullah Jokatte, district president of SDPI said, "None of our party workers will raise pro-Pakistan slogan. This has been created by a private channel to disrupt communal harmony of the district. The SDPI will file case against this."

Dakshina Kannada superintendent of police in a message said, “A video of raising pro-Pakistan slogan is going viral on social media. One can hear pro-Pakistan slogan being raised three seconds into the video. Police are examining the case. After registering a case, the video will be probed. Any related video to the incident can be forwarded to 9480805300.”

Police have booked 10-15 members of SDPI under sections 143, 124A r/w and 149, as per latest reports.

    Let the video go under investigation bcoz in almost all such cases videos found tampered after forensic report.

    In JNU antinational slogans of Kanhaya kumar, in a rally of Navjot singh siddhu and same way an edited version of a video of AMU students chanting slogans against Hindutva, Savarkar and casteism was pushed by right-wing accounts in which the anti-Hindutva slogan is made to sound as if it is against Hindus turned out doctored. Its known fact that whose IT cell and whose media playing role to get poltical mileage through unrest.

We have seen treacherous antinationals, feeding on our soil, in Jammu and Kashmir n in various regions, plotting acts of violence and anarchy, in the hope of disintegrating our Republic !!!     very clear. If there is any procession taking place, and someone wants to defame them, then the easiest way is, any miscreant will throw a stone at them so that the riot take place. Similarly if any wants to defame a party who is taking procession, any opposite party member in the crowd can raise any slogans... And we know who are expert in such incidents. We have history in front of us of hoisting Pak Flag and blaming on others.

    this video is quite intresting. if you say SDPI befor they say in the video , u'll here SDPI zindabad. Same way when u say that name before the slogan see the video u'll here it like that. So change your mentality towards the party. listen to that video as many times you want and confirm whats being chanted. and i have just seen a small video
