Keeping barricades in the middle of highways is unscientific & illegal too. People should stop these malpractices by some educational institutions & religious places which only should be placed temporarily when the approach roads are used by people to enter highways in large numbers. Few years back one DC used to read comments on Daiji & I had commented about barricades placed in Z formation during election time to prevent transportation of money or other illegal activities, but were left in place long after forcing heavy vehicles to move in such a way endangering their lives. Soon they were removed. Hope the same will happen this time around on all highways with haphazard obstacle courses even not there when driving test is conducted by RTA.

The Highway Authority of India do not know how to design a roadway or Highway. The think that by building a road elevated from the surrounding, it becomes a HIGH way! They have purposely evaded Exit and Entry roads into and out of the highway and are placing barricades that are so hazardous and unscientific by any norm. Our PM has gone to the USA four times, surely he must have touched the US main highway called the I5 in Texas that has an Exit and Entry ramp for every suburb or town. This is missing on our highways design. The will put barricades without warning lights and tree branches to indicate a hazard! You can complain and criticise all your life but our Authorities won’t change nor will they bring about a good change for the betterment of the country and its citizens.

The barricades in national highway becoming menace nowadays. No proper signboards information before that , In main junctions no traffic police. Two wheelers either try to evade black smoke from heavy vehicles OR to escape from pot holes. Public are busy in changing road names, or where any incidents happen between different communities..!
