Udupi, Sep 16: Police personnel of Manipal police station have turned up to be brothers for a deceased man.

A dead body was found in Manipal Mannapalla Lake on Thursday. The deceased fell into the lake while fishing. The deceased was identified as Prakash (40) of Kundapur.

When the brother was helpless to cremate the deceased, the Manipal police conducted the last rites respectfully as relatives at the crematorium in Indrali.

The humanitarian service of the police personnel has been appreciated by the public. Police were assisted by social worker Nithyananda Ullakadu and crematorium Superintendent Prashantha.

Anything to impress the public, the Karnataka police is among the most corrupt and notorious, like our PM. Anything for the cameras but there's no solid action on the ground.

Nice to see the value based tenets of REAL Hinduism being practiced by the law keeping officers with the help of popular social worker Nityananda Volakadu. Once again nice to see the values of REAL Hinduism being triumphant....

Indeed a very noble act of humanity by the Manipal Police personnel. God blesses those who take care of the less fortunate and poor irrespective of their faith or caste or colour.
