Udupi: 12-feet tall rangoli attracting public at Sastan

Udupi, Sep 17: A twelve feet-long rangoli portrait dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 72nd birth anniversary on Saturday September 17 by two artists from Brahmavar is attracting one and all here. 

Artist Ashwatha Acharya, from Brahmavar and artist Spoorthy Acharya, from Sastana designed the beautiful portrait. The height of the rangol is 12 feet and it is 7.5 feet in width. 

They took 15 hours to complete the rangoli. The art has grabbed the attention of social media.

The rangoli is exhibited at Chenna-Keshava Kalyana mantapa in Sastan, near Brahmavar.

The art is open for public viewing from Saturday evening. 

Spoorthy Acharya is a lecturer by profession at a government junior college at Byndoor and Ashwath is a painting artist by profession. They have shown their respect and love towards Pm Modi through their art. Both are getting overwhelming responses from people for their sincere effort.
