Doha, Sep 17: Continuing its annual tradition, Karnataka Sangha Qatar celebrated engineer’s day for the year 2022 to commemorate the 162nd birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshvarayya.
Event conducted in Indian Cultural center was attended by chief guest P N Baburajan, president of Indian Cultural center along with guest of honor engineer Amir Farokhzad, projects manager, Qatar Chemical Limited and engineer Mohammed Al-Zoubi, Project Engineer, Qatar Chemical Limited, keynote speaker engineer Hemachandran, senior general Manage Infrastructure and Facility Management, Galfar Al Mishad. vice president of Indian Cultural center Subramanya Hebbagelu.
Other dignitaries present in event were the advisory board members of Karnataka sangha Qatar and president and committee members of associated organizations of Karnataka Sangha Qatar.
Audience presented in event witnessed and acknowledged presentations from technical speakers engr Hemachandran (Technology impacting life styles), Kishore Shrivenkatesh (Electricity generation) and Pradeep Kumar Dileep (Use of Drone in Aviation).
Mahesh Gowda in his welcome speech remembered on how visiting birth place of Sir MV in childhood days which is inspiration to millions youth in India to become of engineers and thanked the audience for attending and supporting the event. P N Baburajan in his address to gathering hailed Karnataka Sangha Qatar for celebrating engineers day and requested that next year this celebration be conducted at bigger scale in collaboration with Indian Cultural Center by inviting all Indian engineers and affiliated organizations. Guest of honor Amir during his speech gave an overview of who an engineer is, evolution of engineering and how he was motivated to become an engineer. Momentos were distributed to Guest of honor and technical speakers as a token of appreciation for participation in the event.
Event was hosted by general secretary of Karnataka Sangha Qatar Pradeep Kumar Dileep and vote of thanks delivered by treasurer of Karnataka Sangha Qatar Ramesha.
