These outdated unsafe buses are hazardous in the hands of those Ferrari drivers of KSRTC. They don’t have a bell to alert the driver of a passenger wanting to get down at a particular bus stop, nor do they have doors to avoid a throw out as in this case. The Transport Dept must penalise KSRTC and pay blood money for Mr. DSouza’s death. The driver too must be imprisoned in manslaughter charges. A legislation must be immediately put into effect for All buses in the whole of Karnataka, private or of KSRTC with six months to implement the installation of doors and the law thereafter. Otherwise India will still be listed as Third Word Poor country judging on such an incidence and two bus deaths in two days.
