Mangalore, Apr 25: Some rain was experienced at various places in the coastal districts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada on the night of Saturday. During the day, and again on the night on Sunday April 24, light rains were reported from a number of places.

The rain was coupled with lightning in Sullia, Puttur, Bantwal and Beltangady taluks. No losses were reported. Cloudy weather, which continued to envelope the coast, resulted in sultry weather.

Manipal, Katapadi, Padubidri and some other places in Udupi district experienced some rain on Sunday.
