Parents (most of them) think that they can pay their way out of any stress including kids' education, they perceive and yes, a biz model exists and is thriving to fully utilize this sense of helplessness. What is otherwise PU colleges (most of them filled with incompetent staff) come up with innovative biz models to swindle such willing parents and those parents in anticipation of ROI support the broad day light abuse of kids regardless of their intent and interest. The latest marketing is such that even parents fall for it. Akash, Byju, Allen and some more willful defaulters who I do not want to speak publicly, and the likes all thrive on this weakest link (desire to succeed and not wanting to seriously think of kid's educational support and need thereof) and swindle lakhs...while all they do is enable a PU degree and nothing more. They entice you with NEET, JEE, KCET successes of past students without telling how they achieved that success. It is like buying a flat and falling for aggressive marketing by a real estate dealer and paying crores in hope for making multi-crore profit.

Good that they escaped to safety .. Maybe the students found it difficult to handle the pressure .We know how these private colleges ..parents and everyone around pressurizes the students to perform .

What could be the reason for leaving the hostel ? They could have left the hostel serving notice without refund ? Wont they continue their studies in the same college ?
