Udupi: Serial Accident – Bike Rider Killed

Udupi, Apr 25: After a tipper hit a truck on Sunday April 24, the truck went wayward, and banged into a motor bike, killing its rider instantly. The accident occurred at Ambagilu Junction in the town.

Santosh (24), son of Kitta Poojary, died on the spot in the accident. The truck in question belongs to Amjad from Puttur. Hanuma Gowda from Bagalkot district was driving the truck loaded with sand, at the time. After a tipper coming from behind hit the truck suddenly, the truck moved aside, hitting the motor bike and dragging it along for some metres.

Santosh is survived by parents and three elder brothers. A case was registered in the town police station here. Investigation has been taken up.
