Mangalore: Periyashanti Tragedy – An Injured Succumbs

Mangalore, Apr 26: One of the persons involved with the gory accident between a gas tanker and Maruti Omni near Periyashanti, Uppinangady on April 23, succumbed to his injuries on Monday April 25 in a local hospital. He has been identified as Mohan Mada (52).

With this, the number of persons who lost their lives in the accident has gone up to six. Five persons had died on the spot in this accident. Among the other injured, the condition of Vasant Mada continues to be serious, and he is in the intensive care unit of a hospital in the city.

Other injured, Rohini Alva, Kartika, Aniket, Santosh Alva and Artik Rai, continue to be treated at the hospital.
