Mangaluru, Sep 27: A man has filed complaint against three people accusing them of cheating Rs 10 lac due to him.

In the complaint filed with CEN police, the complainant, victim of fraud said that Ashok Bhat, Vidya and Priyanka Bhat, who were doing chit fund business through a finance company at Idya village of Surathkal, had not given Rs 10 lac that is due to him.

The victim in his complaint stated that he had joined the chit fund of Rs 10 lac and used to pay Rs 1,500 every day for the same to the accused who used to collect it from him. Once in a month, he used to go to their office and get the passbook updated. On March 28, 2021, the chit fund was closed. The finance owner said that they will pay the money to the victim a little later. However, he did not return the money and kept giving lame excuses. In addition, he owes money to others also. The total due is Rs two crore, he said in his complaint.

CEN police are investigating further.

    How sad to loose such a amount.Cant understand how can such people sleep to cheat others who believed i them and enjoy their money.One fine day either they or their children will pay heavily for it.Then it is too late .It will never go without punishment.

    Chit fund organizers and all the members are responsible in the fraud. There are so many chit fund scams and the fund organisers having duped the oparticpant in the history of Chit fund activities still people do not learn. They fall victim to the false promises and business promotion of gullible sales representatives/promoters of the game. Bull ....👩‍🦰🔱

    This story is really a sad one... The victim has painfully paid over 2 years hoping for a support at the end of tenure... When people cheat there is no religion in between... Only two thoughts of life are true... One good and another bad... There can hardly be anything in between...
