Mangalore: Shanimol Urges Congressmen to Throw Out BJP Government

Mangalore, Apr 27: “Congress should prepare itself to fight out and root out the BJP government in Karnataka, which is corrupt to the core. The youth Congressmen should take up more active role in the party’s organizational activities to give strength to this effort,” said Shanimol Usman, All India Congress Committee secretary. She was addressing a meeting of party activists held at the district Congress office here on Tuesday April 26.

“Congress membership campaign is being held at every booth level. Young women too should take active interest in joining the party. This campaign has been undertaken and concluded in 18 states across the country. Elections have also been held to choose office bearers of the Youth Congress,” she explained.

District Congress president, B Ramanath Rai, presided. District Youth Congress president, Krishna Byregowda, AICC secretary, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee secretary, Ivan D’Souza, and a number of other leaders were present.
