Sullia, Apr 29: In a gory incident that occurred between 7 pm and 8 pm on Thursday April 28 here, Ramakrishna A S (48), working as administrative officer (AO) of KVG Medical College here, was hacked to death by unknown persons.
Ramakrishna was walking along Ambetadka Road in the company of his son, Vallish (13), when unidentified assailants suddenly accosted them and hit Ramakrishna in the face with swords. After the attack, they fled in a motor bike. Vallish, who ran away from the spot, escaped unscathed.
Initially, Ramakrishna used to function as the principal of KVG Polytechnic and then as the administrative officer of KVG Group of Educational Institutions.
