Dubai, Oct 3: Phonix Films in association with Sandhya Creations Overseas Movies & SCENT (Sandhya Creations Event Network Team) launched the premiere release Event of Tulu Movie 'Karnikada Kallurti'  on October 1 at 8 PM in Marco Polo Hotel, Muteena, Deira-Dubai along with dinner.

Shodhan Prasad welcomed the guests and briefed on the programme. Producer/director/actor of ‘Karnikada Kallurti’ Mahendra Kumar was introduced and honoured with a shawl by Nithyanand Beskoor.

Shodhan then welcomed Praveen Shetty, president, Karnataka NRI Forum, Dubai, Lt Fen Dr Frank Fernandes, businessman, chancellor, General MEA, Peace Ambassador; chief of Mission UAE, Ramachandra Hegde of Amchigele Samaj, Mohan Attavar, former president, Billawa Family, Satish Ullal of Billawas Family,  Shashidhar Nagarajappa of Kannada Paatashale, Dubai, Syed Ajmal, president of Nama Tuluveru UAE, Premjeet of Tulu Paterga Tulu Oripaga, Nagaraj Rao of Kannada Patashale, Sugandhraj Bekal of Margadeepa UAE; Ashok Bailur of Sauhardha Labiri were the guests of honor on the stage.

All the guests were honoured with shawls by producer Mahendra Kumar.

All the guests did the honours of the traditional lighting of the lamp while Yuvaraj Devadiga rendered a prayer song beautifully.

Exclusive pamphlet of the movie was then released by the guests with photo session. Soon Mahendra Kumar spoke on the movie making and requested all the audience to support him fully by not only watching the movie but also letting their friends know about this true story. Teaser of the Movie was then played along with well-wishing inspirational video by Tulu Sahitya Sammelana president Dayanand Kathalsar.

Premiere ticket release was then done and inaugurated by all the guests on the stage who opened up the pack and showed the tickets to the audience.

All the guests spoke well on the movie, requested the audience to support the movie whole heartedly and also confirmed their support during the speech. Almost three special shows in Dubai; one in Abu Dhabi is confirmed by various community groups. The premier shows booked for October 16 are at 1.30 pm and 4 pm and the name of the theater will be announced shortly. However, the cinema enthusiasts can start calling and reserving their booking which has already started.

Sauharda Lahiri Team along with Golden Star Music & Fine Arts Team presented various dances and live singing throughout the evening entertaining all the guests who were enjoying every bit of it. Further Alwyn Pinto cracked some jokes and shayeris which to a thundering applause by the audience.

Birthday celebration of Pramod Kumar, one of the active members of SCENT was done with cake cutting during the event and guests wished him. Team members of SCENT managed the whole event smoothly. All the guests enjoyed sumptuous buffet dinner and the event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nithyanand Beskoor.
