Mangalore: Akhila Bharata Karmika Sangha Holds Massive Convention

Mangalore, May 2: Akhila Bharata Karmika Sangha organised a convention of labourers and owners, under the promulgation of ‘eradicate corruption and strengthen nation’ in Nehru Maidan on Sunday May 1.

Speaking on the occasion, Isha Vittala Das Swamiji of Kemaru Mutt lauded the efforts of Akshila Bharatha Karmika Sangha, D.K District who had organized a protest rally to condemn the alleged mismanagement at Wenlock hospital. He also suggested that both labour and owners should think on the same direction to achieve the cause.

Mohanadas Swamiji of Manila, Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza of St Joseph Church, Jeppu and Abu Sufiyan of Bajpe Jum’a Masjid were present.

President of Karmika Sangha Lokesh Hegde welcomed the gathering. Congress leader Moideen Bava, former MLC Anna Vinayachandra and advocate Chengappa among others were present.

On the occasion free books were distributed to the students of various schools like Shirthady and Padukone.
