Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College students win overall championship at district level wrestling tourney

Mangaluru, Oct 11: In the District Level Free style Wrestling Tournament organized by Shree Gokarnatheshwara PU College in association with Dakshina Kannada Pre- University Education Department St Agnes PU College students brought laurels to the college by winning under various categories:

Anusha - I Place (50 Kg)
Ananya - I Place (55 Kg)
Bhargavi - I Place (62 Kg)
Shamya - I Place (65 Kg)
Prerana - I Place (68 Kg)
Shaza - I Place (72 Kg)
Arpitha - I Place (76 Kg)
Archie - II Place (57 Kg)

The team has won the Overall Championship and these students have been selected for the State Level Tournament which will be held in Gadag.

The management, principal and staff congratulated thestudents and wished them good luck for the upcoming tournament.
