Mangaluru, Oct 13: The release of Tulu movie ‘Illokkel’ directed by Dr Suresh Chitrapu is postponed. The film will now release on January 13, 2023.
Illokkel is an out-and-out horror-comedy movie. Rajasha has provided the music. Songs in the movie sung by Tippu, Raghu Dikshit and Mime Ramdas are already making waves in social media. Adwiti Shetty is the lead actress in the movie.
The cast includes dozens of famous actors such as Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, VJ Vineet Kumar, Vismaya Vinayak, Umesh Mizar, Sunil Nelligudde, Maim Ramdas, Rajesh Poojary, Radhesh Shenoy, Chandrakala Mohan, Roopa Varkady, Charlie Chaplin of Yakshagana Seetarama Kateel and Nireeksha Shetty.
The movie was scheduled to release in the month of August this year which was later postponed due to Tulu movie Abatara's release. Then it was postponed to December. But the movie clashed with upcoming Tulu movie Shakalaka Boom Boom.
Both the movie teams discussed and Illokkel movie is postponed to January 13 next year and Shakalaka Boom Boom will release on December 16.
