Mangaluru, Oct 15: “Milagres College Placement Cell in association with IQAC, PTA and MICAA, will organise a mega job fair 'Career Connect-2022' for the third time on Tuesday, October 18, from 9 am to 3.30 pm,” said principal Fr Michael Santhumayor.
Addressing media at the press club here on Saturday, October 15, he said, “Chief executive of Spectrum Industries and former chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) will be the chief guest and will inaugurate the job fair. Correspondent Fr Bonaventure Nazareth will preside over the event. PTA president Patsy Vas will be the guest of honour, and MICAA president Riana D’Cunha will be present.
“Around 60 companies such as BPO, insurance, banking, automobiles, hotels, cruise, health, education, IT, management, telecommunication, sales, and retail sector from Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa and Kerala will be part of this job fair, and who will be looking out for suitable candidates for more than 2500 vacancies.
“Graduates, postgraduates, engineering, IT, hotel management, cruise, ITI, and diploma holders as well as final-year students can take benefit from this job fair. Candidates are expected to come along with multiple copies of their CV and other related documents. Registration is free and also, spot registration is permitted.
“The event will be held at Milagres College auditorium,” he said.
