Mangalore : Minister Palemar Lays Foundation Stone for 'Daijiworld Residency'

Mangalore, May 4: The foundation stone-laying ceremony of landmark venture ‘Daijiworld Residency’ was held at Bondel here, opposite St Lawrence Church, Airport Road, on Wednesday, May 4.
Fr Ravi Santhosh Kamath of Fathima Retreat House invoked god's guidance and blessed the prestigious project. Fr Antony Serrao, parish priest of St Lawrence Church, Bondel and Fr Ronald, assistant parish priest of St Lawrence Church, Bondel were present.
District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar laid the foundation stone. He also unveiled the project by raising the curtain of Daijiworld Residency model poster.
Speaking at the formal programme, he said that the housing requirement in the city cannot be fulfilled by the government alone, thus the effort of Rohan R Monteiro, managing director of Property Infratec India Pvt Ltd, in satisfying housing needs is commendable. Being a young and energetic entreprenuer Rohan has come up in life with his own efforts and his dedication to work; he is a people's man, a person well-liked for his helping nature.
Palemar hailed Daijiworld, saying it has been instrumental in relaying coastal news worldwide, and congrtulated the team for making Mangalore's name popular across countries. In a similar way, the 'Daijiworld Residency' should serve its residents too, he added.
U T Khadar speaking on the occassion, said that Property Real Eastate and Daijiworld are both giants in their respective fields. The project, being very close to church, has plenty of blessings from the almighty, and will surely become a mega success, he said.
Rohan Monteiro, MD, Property Infratec India Pvt Ltd, MLA U T Khader, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, corporator Naveen D’Souza, Congress leader Dolphy Prashanth D'Souza, Suresh Kumar, architectural consultant, S K Associates and land owner Pushparaj Shetty, and Walter Nandalike, editor-in-chief, daijiworld.com among others were present on the dais.
Well-known compere Sahil compered the event in his usual dynamic style.
