Mangaluru: Poster-making contest held at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Oct 18: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate 75 years of Independence. To commemorate this occasion, Post Graduate Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav organised an online and offline poster making contest on October 17.

The contest was open to all the students of the MCom department and 29 students participated in the competition. The judges for the online event were Hannabel Alva, head of PG Department of Big Data Analytics and Vishnu Dev C H, assistant professor, PG Department of English and the judges for the offline event were Dr Likhitha, assistant professor, PG Department of Chemistry and Raajath Dayanand Naik, assistant professor, PG Department of Psychology.

The students came up with amazing creativity in both online and offline. Their efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all. The activity kept the students engaged and gave them a platform to explore their creativity and to showcase their skills.
