Moodabidri: Camp for Unique Disability Identity Card held

Moodabidri, Oct 18: Department of Clinical Psychology, Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Srinivas University in association with Srinivas Hospital, Mukka jointly collaborated with District Health and Family Welfare Department, Mangalore Taluk, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, for the Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID) Camp at Moodbidri, on Thursday, October 13.

The camp was organised with the intention to assess differently abled like Intellectual disability and mental disorders, Children with learning disabilities like Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Vision Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Speech and Language disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder etc to certify and provide the UDID Card.

Team of three members, attended and assessed the applicants in the camp. Dr Guru Prasad, Psychiatrist, Srinivas Hospital, under the guidance of Priyadhersini S, Clinical Psychologists, Harshitha D and Akshatha, Department of Clinical Psychology, IAHS, Srinivas University assessed and certified more than 100 applicants for UDID.
