Mangalore: Sahyadri Emerges Champion in VTU Inter-college Volleyball Tourney

Mangalore, May 5: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management students have emerged champions in VTU Inter collegiate Women’s Volleyball Tournament held at Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, Gubbi on May 2 and May 4.

The team won the championship by defeating women’s team from AIT, Chikmagalur in the final. More than 21 engineering colleges participated in the tournament. The team was lead by Nithisha Rodrigues.

Physical director of Sahyadri Educational Institutions Dr Umesh M Bhushi, principal of the college Dr D L Prabhakar and Manjunath Bhandary, president, Bhandary Foundation congratulated the winning team.
