Mangalore, May 5: The World Asthma Day 2011 was celebrated by Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing (LMCN) at A J Hospital and Research Centre conference Hall, Kuntikana here on Tuesday May 3.
It was organized by the staffs of Paediatric Nursing Department. The programme commenced with the prayer song and was inaugurated by the dignitaries on the dais. Professor Theresa L M, HOD, Child Health Nursing Department of LMCN welcomed the gathering. Dr Santhosh Soans, professor and HOD of paediatric department was the chief guest for the day.
Professor Larissa Martha Sams, principal of LMCN presided over the function. Shanthi, lecturer of LMCN, unveiled the theme. Patsy Castelino, lecturer proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was followed by the conference by different speakers. Vijay compered the whole programme.
