Kasargod: Pandal collapse incident at science exhibition – Six arrested

Kasargod, Oct 22: Manjeshwar police arrested six persons in connection with the pandal collapse that occurred at the sub district science exhibition on Friday.

The arrested are identified as contractor of the pandal Gokuldas, Ahmed Ali A P, Abdul Basheer, Abdul Shameel, Ilyas Mohammed and Ashraf.

 

Cases under various sections including Juvenile Act is slapped on the arrested. The incident took place at Bekur government higher secondary school. Kerala education minister Shivan Kutty ordered investigation into the mishap.

As many as 15 people who got injured in the mishap are recovering at various hospitals of Mangaluru and Kasargod. Others are already discharged. In total, 59 people got injured in the incident.

    Contractor walk away early, Remaining men will stay behind bars. because Contractor is Hindu guy and remaining all are Muslim.!!!!

    Where are the so called make in India experts who cannot even build a sturdy canopy? Recently one such canopy had to be built using German technology in Surathkal!!

    Why arrest the contractors, arrest the officials who approved the contract????….Its like arresting the hitman than arresting the one who gave supari. Supari given by BJP high command for 40% commission from the contract but unfortunately they act like Na Khaonga Na Khane Doonga with clean chit.
